There’s no party like an Israeli party, you know what I mean? If you’re looking to add some ESH (fire) to your wedding one of the first things you’ll be thinking about is popular Israeli music (because there are two other typical Israeli things at weddings, one of which is wearing blundstones and jeans - yuck).
We’re all familiar with the classic Israeli songs and the Jewish wedding songs – but now I’m talking about the Israeli hits from the last few years which are lighting up clubs all across Tel Aviv and will get your wedding pumping like Kuli Alma on a Thursday night.
So if you don’t know the names to all those songs you’ve heard, fear not. We’re here to save you with this list of Israeli Hits for Weddings.
Since it was published in 2019, over 5,400 people have used our original Israeli hits list! Make sure you check that out together with this new, expanded and updated list of Israeli music for weddings.
By the way, the other SUPER Israeli thing that are at EVERY Israeli wedding are photomagnets. An extra photographer is taking pictures of guests and printing them on the day for you to take home. It’s cute and every Israeli home is covered in these magnets. And guess what? They’re available in the UK too. That’s where we come in 😊 click here to use our date and price checker for wedding photo magnets in London and the UK.
Reception / Dinner Music Israeli Wedding Songs
We thought we’d start off with some Israeli music that can make background music during reception (with a light band) or during dinner (with a singer). If you’ve picked a top wedding band they’ll know how to adjust the songs to make them fit PERFECTLY.

Slow Israeli Wedding Songs
Next up are some slow Israeli wedding songs – these could also be used for dinner background music but there are also some which are fantastic for chuppah songs (I’ve pointed out which are my favourites for a chupah below). These songs you might also like if there’s a slow dancing slot in your wedding running order or if you’re hoping to have a kumzits, circular singalong.

Amen al hayeladim (amen to the children) – Hanan Ben Ari
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1ODZmoyNNc
This song is BEAUTIFUL and if you’re having children walk down the aisle before the bride, I can’t think of any more appropriate song in English or Hebrew (unless you’re looking for a more traditional song in which case I’d recommend Vezakeini, Birkat Habanim or one of these versions of Yesimcha here and here). Hanan Ben Ari is a popular Israeli singer who connects to the entire spectrum of Israelis but comes from a religious background and has lots of children. In this song he is praying for his children, that they should respect and love each other, know no troubles and not inherit his faults. He heartrendingly sings about how he wants to always be there for them, save them, look after them and absorb the difficulties for them.
Ein Od Milvado – but check out this new, slightly more upbeat version from Tomer Adaddi and Avraham Fried https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JelDLSeE1o8
Chayim Sheli (my life) – Eden Ben Zaken
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEEzKfGa1oY
If you weren’t sure whether this song is meant to be for a chuppah, watch the music video – it shows a Jewish wedding in Israel! The song tells the story of him walking into her life and lighting her heart. The chorus translates to, “You are my life, how I have you, what fortune that I have you next to me. You’re my life, I’m shouting in front of everyone, you are the happiness in the world for me”. Okay, it doesn’t translate so well – but in Hebrew it’s really beautiful. This song fits perfectly for that moment that the bride and groom see eachother for the first time, whether it’s looking at eachother from each end of the aisle, at the bedeken or at a first look.
Resisim (shrapnel) – Raviv Kaner
Acharei Kol Hashanim (After all these years) – Omer Adam
Tocho ratzuf ahava (it’s filled with love) – Ishay Ribo
